About CWU Lancs & Cumbria

The Lancs & Cumbria Branch of the Communications Workers has a long history.  It was formed by the merger of the ‘Central and West Lancs Branch’ and the ‘Lancs & Cumbria Combined Branch’ on 11th June 2015.  Each of the branches had been formed by the merging of branches that were based in each town.

We now represent members from Bolton in the south almost up to the Scottish border and from the Irish Sea coast to the Yorkshire border.
